Another Sunday Sevens

Only have 6 to share this week. So, I will make it quick and sweet.

1 – My parents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. I sent them is Edible Arrangement. 2 of the pineapples are suppose to be cut into the numbers “60”.

2 – Halarious Hilda is a bit green around the gills and drippy in this winter weather. I feel ya honey!

3 – Car wash time. I call this structure the Dinosaur Bones Car Wash.
4 – View from my desk one day at work.

5 – During the wonderfully, warm summer months the Impatients on my deck reseeded themselves into the potted orchid. One has managed to begin to bloom indoors. A very welcome surprise.

6 – I made a warm cup of tomato soup and a gluten-free grilled cheese. My idea of “Comfort Food”. Aaahh!

Sunday Seven is a weekly collection of photos from our daily lives. Natalie over at Threads & Bobbins has all the details and you can join in at any time.

Mmmm, your grilled cheese toast looks scummy! And the edible arrangement is amazing!! You really wouldn’t want to eat it though would you? I mean i would, having a sweet tooth, but I couldn’t as it’s just too special!

Agree with Ali, specially over that grilled cheese… but that might be because I’m contemplating one o’ me own! Congratulations to your parents on their 60th! Love all your green plants at work & congratulations on that spot of colour! Where did you find Hilda?! Must admit views out my windows have been same as yours, grey & gloomy if not pouring down rain. But rather that than snow or drought… 😉

    • Ha! Yes, grey, gloomy and cold. Yuk! (In case you can’t tell I am not a Winter person) Halarious Hilda was a find at Plow & Hearth. They have an online catalog but are a company right here in this area, in Madison. They have an outlet store there and hold clearance sales a couple of times per year. I found this a few years ago and just HAD to have it. It is suppose to be a bird feeder, I guess. It would never hold any seed. But, it makes me laugh. In a few weeks I will scrub her up for another season.

  3. It may have something to do with one of my neighbors too….which is even more conversation.

  4. Hilda is a riot, quite the conversation starter. The tomato soup/grilled cheese sandwich takes me back….one of childhood favorites that I’ve passed down to my own kids.

Ooooh tomato soup + grilled cheese…how lovely! I may just have to have that for my lunch today now 😀 Love the idea of an edible arrangement! Happy anniversary to your parents!

  6. Beads and Barnacles says:

The soup and grilled cheese looks lovely and I don’t even like tomato soup.
Grr I now have a craving for grilled cheese… :-p
How lovely to have some colour from flowers at this time of year.

  7. Funny I too am drawn most too the grilled cheese and tomato soup. YUM! Happy anniversary to your parents!
