Christmas Gift From The Other Side Of The World

I love receiving presents. Who doesn’t, right? No, really. It always amazes me the thought that goes into gift giving. I guess that I am a difficult person to buy for. I try not to be. But, I am the type of person who buys what I like, for myself. I am realizing that this type of personality makes a difficult person to buy for.

So, I am really amazed when I receive gifts that really make me say, “Wow”. Like this one…

I love this. It’s a tapestry that came from Laos. The colors are a perfect match to my current scheme. I have the perfect spot to display it where everyone who enters my home will see it. And this morning I found the solution to hanging it in the selected spot. It’s all coming together so beautifully. “Wow!”

I will post a picture of it once all the Christmas decorations have been packed away and my house is back to it’s normal arrangement. I may even be able to use the new camera lens that I did ask Santa to bring me. You know. The real Santa from Macy’s in NYC. (wink, wink)

I hope your holiday was wonderful. What cool gifts did you receive? Please share.

Wow, Robyn, my mother-in-law has tapestry almost exactly like yours, just on blue background, and it is also beautiful! I should take a picture of it for you, it is really uncanny. I must ask her where hers came from…
